The Front Penthouse is our largest Rooftop Room and sleeps up to three people, each with their own bed if necessary. It has two sunny windows that look out onto rooftops and the Nerudova Street below. From here you will have a stunning view of the beautifully, flamboyant Baroque church, St. Nicholas. Outside the windows is a small parapet that is safe to climb out onto for an even better view. All this makes The Front Penthouse a romantic nest. It's a large room that isn't a standard hotel room with just room for a bed. Please note that you would share the bathroom and shower with two other rooms. However, the bathroom is newly rennovated and is cleaned and looked after everyday.
We understand that traveling can be expensive, so we offer this room with the budget traveler in mind. It is inexpensive and basic but is centrally located with enough privacy to be comfortable. So why stay in a hostel when you can have your own room and be close enough to walk to everything you want to see?
Our building dates from the 14th century and is filled with all sorts of interesting detail.
The Front Pentouse is on the fourth floor (5th by US and Canadian standards). Because of the historic nature of our building, we are unable to install a lift. There is also a small communal kitchen area with a refrigerator, dishes, utensils, kettle, coffee and tea that is accessible to each room. If you need something else in particular, just ask and we'll do our best to help.
Our street, Nerudova, offers plenty of cafes and restaurants which are open everyday. There is one small grocery just up the street at #33 and a larger market just before Charles Bridge that's only a 3 minute walk away.
This is one portion of the view from the Front Penthouse.
